The Florida Aquarium enables visitors to get close to many of Florida’s aquatic and terrestrial animals and ecosystems, as well as from around the world. Conveniently located in downtown Tampa along the free streetcar route and between two cruise ship terminals, the Aquarium takes visitors on a journey from Florida's freshwater springs to the open waters of the Florida Keys. Experience a wetlands environment with mangroves and free flying birds, shorelines habitats, a coral reef ecosystem encompassed in half a million gallons of natural seawater, plus three interactive touch pools. Admission supports the Aquarium’s mission to protect and restore our blue planet on many conservation fronts, including research and rescue efforts that help restore sea turtle, sand tiger shark, and coral populations.
